Milan restarts from culture. Here are which museums you can visit
Finally, the Milan Civic Museums reopen. Culture therefore returns to be usable in the most important museum institutions of the city, but the access modalities will be very rigid, both in terms of days and opening hours, and for the need to book your entrance. Here is the calendar of initiatives that will be activated from May 26th until June 21st.
Monday will be the closing day for all the Civic Museums; On Tuesday and Wednesday the GAM (Modern Art Gallery), the Natural History Museum, the Civic Aquarium and the Risorgimento Museum will be open; Thursday the Boschi Di Stefano – House Museum and the Francesco Messina Studio Museum open to the public; on Friday the Boschi Di Stefano House Museum and the Francesco Messina Studio Museum will be open, with the addition of MUDEC; on Saturday and Sunday, however, Museo del Novecento, Palazzo Morando, the Archaeological Museum and the MUDEC – Museum of Cultures (permanent collection) will open.
The access time is unique for all museums and runs from 11.00 to 18.00, with half-hour slots to quota the entrances that provide for 3 to 15 people for each time slot and depending on the Museum. Admission to museums is guaranteed by booking online (already available) on the vivaticket.com website and, for museums with paid entrance, by purchasing the ticket online. Guided tours are not currently possible.
Castello Sforzesco and its Museum have not yet communicated the reopening dates, while Palazzo Reale, with the exhibitions still in progress, will reopen from May 28, from Thursday to Sunday, from 11.00 to 19.30, but also in this case it is necessary pre-purchase tickets online.
Further updates on the new openings will follow! Stay connected, Milan is waiting for you!
