Milan restarts from culture. Here the museums you can visit

Thanks to the improvement of the Covid-19 pandemic, from the 27th of April 2021, the Municipality of Milan has re-opened the Civic Museums and all the exhibitions set up in its exhibition sites. 

Following the new rules, museums and exhibition venues are now open throughout the week with free admission, compatibly with the limit imposed by security protocols. However, reservation is strongly recommended, especially on Saturdays and holidays, in order to avoid queues.

Below is a list of the main venues that you will be able to visit:

  • MUBA (Children’s Museum)
  • Archaeological Museum
  • Palazzo Moriggia
  • Palazzo Morando
  • Boschi Di Stefano House Museum
  • Francesco Messina Studio Museum
  • Natural History Museum
  • Civic Aquarium
  • Planetario U. Hoepli
  • PAC – Contemporary Art Pavilion
  • Fabbrica del Vapore
  • MUDEC – Museum of Cultures
  • Monumental Cemetery
  • Palazzo Marino
  • Palazzo Dugnani
  • Casa della Memoria (Milan’s House of Memory)

All these venues are closed on Monday.  To organize your visit, we recommend that you check the opening hours of each location on its official website.
