Transport Strike on Monday 11 October

A general strike has been proclaimed by grassroots unions throughout Italy, which could also block public transport.

In Milan, public transports are regular on all subway lines, buses and trams. Only skipped a few metro rides, which could determine some inconvenience. Here is the link to access more information about the current situation of metro and tram service in Milan.

How long does the strike last? :  at 8.45 am to 3 pm and from 6 pm at the end of the service.

The unions Cub Trasporti, Usb private employment Lombardia, Sgb, al Cobas and Sol Cobas joined the national 24-hour strike of all public and private sectors.

The strike also affects the rail transport sector. The usual guarantee time slots are in force, from 6 to 9 and from 18 to 21, during which the trains included in the list of “Minimum guaranteed services” work (here the link to consult the list of the “minimun guaranteed services”).
