
BookCity Milano – How to reach the main events with public transports
The Fair dedicated to books and reading reaches its tenth edition and returns to Milan with meetings mainly in presence, organized in full compliance with anti-Covid rules. From the 17th until the 21st of November, the following events are taking place in different locations of the city, all reachable with public transports:

"Thematic" events, in the headquarters of Milanese cultural and social life;

“Unusual” events, which take books and reading to unconventional locations and new social scenarios;

"Widespread" events in the area, promoted and managed by various protagonists of the city's cultural life, such as publishers, bookshops, libraries, cultural and educational institutions;

Events within libraries;

Workshops for teens, children and families
Among the most important event, we point out the following; in the text, you will find a description about how to reach them by public transport:

Riannodare volontà e ragione (“Reconnect will and reason”), the Fair’s opening event, scheduled for November 17 at 8 pm at the Dal Verme Theater. During this event Amin Maalouf, one of the most significant intellectuals in the European cultural and literary world, will receive the Seal of the city from Mayor Giuseppe Sala and will be interviewed by Professor Nuccio Order. It is possible to reach the Dal Verme Theater from Milan’s main attractions with buses 57, 61 and 81, or by subway with the lines M1 (getting off at the Cairoli stop) and M2 (getting off at the Cadorna stop);

Salvatore Veca: la cultura come impegno (“Salvatore Veca: culture as a commitment”, scheduled for November 19 at 8.30 pm at the Feltrinelli Foundation. An event organized to remember the Italian philosopher who bequeathed us the pleasure of asking questions, the desire to know, the awareness that the future is not written in advance. It is possible to reach the Feltrinelli Foundation from Milan’s main attractions with buses 166, 43, 70, 94 or by subway with the M5 and M2 metro lines (getting off at the Garibaldi FS stop), or finally with tram 12.

Donne cuore di Milano (“Women, hearth of Milan”) at the MUDEC - Museum of Cultures, which addresses the issue of the importance of the role of women in the city of Milan, too often not adequately talked about. You can reach the MUDEC - Museo delle Culture with buses 325, 50, 61, 68 and 90, or by subway with the M2 metro line (getting off at the Porta Genova stop), or finally with tram 14.
