Ice skating rinks in Milan, the best places to skate and how to reach them

Winter in Milan means wonderful ice skating rinks. Ice skating is indeed one of Milan's most typical winter activities. So if you are planning on coming to Milan at winter, and especially at Christmas time, you cannot miss out on the magic that lies within these rinks.

Many are the ice skating rinks open in Milan this year, that will make it possible for everyone to go ice-skating. Some of these rinks are equipped with supports (bears, seals, moose or penguins-shaped carts) in order to help skaters not fall.

Here a list of the main ice-skating rinks of Milan:

VILLAGGIO DELLE MERAVIGLIE

80 meters long and 1,000 square meters wide, it is one of the largest ice-skating rink in Milan. It is a double skating rink, partly covered and heated and partly open, perfect for everyone.

There is indeed one big slope for adults, but also a covered slope for children up to 8 years and beginners up to 10 years, accompanied by their parents.

BAGNI MISTERIOSI

An enchanted village for adults and children with a small skating rink by the pool. And for the older ones, the opportunity to taste some of the most typical italian winter products: polenta, apple cider, 'bombardini'..

SENSATION ON ICE

A large ice rink that welcomes all the skaters wanting to twirl and dance under the Milanese sky.

Senstation on Ice is one of the largest ice courses in all of Italy, combining magic and enchantment, fun and sport.

In this rink, there are so many things to do and see, starting with the marvelous scenography built around the frozen path which, with its shades of fuchsia, creates wonderful contrasts with the white and candid snow.
