Update information to visit the Milan main attraction, the Duomo Cathedral
Duomo Milan is perhaps the main Milan attraction , built starting from the year 1386, it is the largest Cathedral in Italy. A symbol of late-Gothic international architecture, which overlooks the homonymous square – piazza Duomo – and for centuries has astonished citizens and visitors from all over the world with its magnificence. The distinctive features of this splendid Duomo Cathedral are: the white marbles that cover it, the many statues and sculptures, the very colorful glass windows and, above all, the characteristic spiers, which almost seem to touch the sky. Among these, the largest spire, the highest and most imposing one, supports the golden statue symbol of the city of Milan, depicting Madonna Assunta.
