Milan public transport strike on December 3rd

A public transport strike has been proclaimed by trade unions in Milan, which could block both surface transports and the subway.

In Milan, the strike by traveling and operating personnel will be possible between 6 pm and 10 pm. Here is the link to get real-time information on the transport situation in Milan.

Regional trains are also at risk throughout Lombardy. Trenord has informed that on Friday 3 December 2021 from 9.01 am to 5 pm there may be changes and cancellations on regional as well as long distance trains, on the suburban line, and on the airport service. There are guaranteed time slots (in the morning before 9 am and in the afternoon after 5 pm) that will not be affected by the strike (here the link to consult the list of the “guaranteed services”). Trains with scheduled departure by 9.01 am and arrival at their final destination by 10 am will finish their journey.

The strike was called against the introduction of the obligation of the Green Pass to access the workplace, a circumstance which, according to the promoters, led to the emergence of "real and tangible discrimination" between workers and in the organization of work.

How long does the strike last? For ATM transport, from 6 pm to 10 pm; for Trenord trains, from 9.01 am to 5 pm of Friday, December the 3rd.
