Milan extends M4 subway from Linate Airport to city centre

M4 Metro connect Linate Airport with Milan city center

On Tuesday 4th July, Milan’s M4 subway line opened two new stations , offering a 12-minute journey from the city centre (Piazza San Babila) to Linate Airport.

M4 trains run every days: from Monday to Thuesday, from 6am to 10 pm; in the weekend, from 6.00 am to 0:30am.

The remaining 13 stations on Milan’s fourth subway line, known as M4 or the Blue Line, are scheduled to be completed in 2024. Once completed, the M4 will connect Linate Airport in the east with S. Cristoforo in the south-west, passing through the centre where it will connect with the red M1 line at S. Babila and the green M2 line at S. Ambrogio.
